Rationale
This cell type was annotated as a natural killer cell by canonical gene expression, but displayed higher CD16 expression that the other natural killer cell subset within the dataset. Slightly lower transcript levels of NCAM1 may suggest ontology term CL:0000939 would be more appropriate however, flow cytometry staining did not indicate differing levels of CD56 at protein level.
