Category
Class of which the cell type is a subclass.- leukocyteCL:0000738

Marker Gene Evidence
Gene markers used by researcher to assign this cell annotation.- IL7R, CD3E
Rationale
- IL7R (CD127) is expressed by T cells and other lymphoid populations and is critical for lymphocyte survival and homeostasis. CD3E is a core component of the T cell receptor complex and is selectively expressed in T lymphocytes. IL7R and CD3E identify lymphoid immune cell populations and distinguish them from myeloid and non-immune cells.
